BRIAN R. JONES, Chief Operating Officer
Brian also is the Research and Business Development Manager of both the Iowa Corn Growers Association and the Iowa Corn Promotion Board. In that role, he coordinates the relevant research efforts related to biotechnology and is active in creating new business development efforts – which includes Iowa Corn Opportunities.

Prior to joining Iowa Corn, Brian served as an agricultural business management consultant with The Context Network, a firm specializing in agriculture, biotechnology, seed and agrochemical business analysis. There, Brian worked with most of the major agrochemical and seed companies on projects related to strategic planning, research targeting, opportunity analysis, competitive intelligence and market research.

He also spent several years at Pioneer Hi-Bred International as a supply management analyst. Brian has a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness from Utah State University, and a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University.
